About RESP Guru

A real advisor, in your family’s corner.

RESP Guru does one thing well: it helps Canadian families understand Registered Education Savings Plans and claim every government grant they are owed. You deal with a licensed human, not a robo-account.

RESP Guru is one person. You deal with me from the first message to the paperwork, and I answer every message myself, usually within one business day.

What I do

I explain how RESPs work in plain language, make sure you claim every grant your child qualifies for, and help you choose the plan that fits. If the answer is one of the four I cannot sell, I will say so.

How I am paid

I am paid by the insurer when a policy is placed, not by you directly. I hold an LLQP licence in Ontario for segregated fund and insurance products, and I am not licensed to sell mutual funds or exchange-traded funds. More on how that works.

Too many Canadian families miss out on free government money for their children’s education — not because they don’t care, but because RESPs come wrapped in jargon, fine print, and sales pitches. That’s the problem RESP Guru was built to solve.

As an LLQP-licensed insurance advisor, my job is simple. I explain how RESPs really work in plain language. I make sure you claim every grant your child qualifies for. Then I help you choose the plan that fits your family — with straight answers and zero pressure.

“Every child deserves a head start — and the government helps pay for it. My job is to make sure your family actually gets it.”
