Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to learn about RESPs and reach us — regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our commitment
RESP Guru is committed to making respguru.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort and part of treating families fairly.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to align with the accessibility expectations of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). These are widely recognized standards for making web content usable by people with a range of disabilities.
What we’ve built in
Steps we’ve taken to support accessibility on this site include:
- Clear, structured headings and a logical reading order;
- Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast;
- Text that resizes and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktops;
- Keyboard-usable menus, links, and the contact form;
- Descriptive labels on form fields and links;
- Respect for the “reduced motion” setting for people sensitive to animation.
Ongoing work and known limitations
Accessibility is never “finished.” Some content or third-party components may not yet fully meet our target standard, and we work to identify and fix issues as we find them. If you come across a barrier, please tell us — your feedback directly helps us improve.
